This is a comprehensive list of upcoming and recurrent programs for adults. Online registration is offered via web calendar. You may also register in-person, or by phone at 815-786-8308. Registration is not required for programs unless noted; however, you may choose to register for any program if desired.

Please note: If programs that require registration do not reach minimum capacity 48 hours before scheduled date, the program may be cancelled. If such a situation occurs, you will be notified by phone prior to original program time.

An Evening with Elizabeth Berg - Program Info
Wednesday, August 16th @ 6:00pm
The Sandwich Public Library warmly welcomes author Elizabeth Berg and her pup, Gabby. Program will include an excerpt reading of Ms. Berg’s new book: The Story of Arthur Truluv, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Cash or check only, please. Space is limited! Please come early to ensure a seat.

Discovery of Magic - Program Info

Join presenter, William Pack, “The Chicago Magic Expert,” as he cracks open his magic history scrapbooks to reveal a secret world of colorful characters, amusing adventures, and arcane knowledge. Meet astonishing magicians who made the impossible possible. Explore incredible behind-the-scenes stories that most never hear. Wonder at recreations of the baffling magic tricks behind the stories. Program is open to all ages. Be sure to come early to ensure a seat!

Blood Drive - Program Info

Radium Girls of Ottawa - Program Info

Join us for a special presentation on the Radium Girls of Ottawa. Author and historian, Heinz Suppan, will present about how the seemingly prosperous ‘radium cure’ rapidly evolved into tragedy and how this occurrence drastically impacted local communities. Copies of Heinz Suppan’s book: Marking Time: The Radium Girls of Ottawa, will be available for purchase (cash or check only). Learn more about the Radium Girls by viewing a special showing of the "Documentary of Radium City," August 30th at 1pm.

Feeling crafty? Come to the library to spend time with great people creating new, and fun crafts for you to keep! Craft themes change every month. All materials are provided for you unless otherwise noted. The program is free, but registration is required. There are only 10 spots available every month, so be sure to register early.
