This is a comprehensive list of upcoming and recurrent programs for adults. Online registration is offered via web calendar. You may also register in-person, or by phone at 815-786-8308. Registration is not required for programs unless noted; however, you may choose to register for any program if desired.

Please note: If programs that require registration do not reach minimum capacity 48 hours before scheduled date, the program may be cancelled. If such a situation occurs, you will be notified by phone prior to original program time.


Blackout Poetry
April 7th @ 12:00PM – 1:00PM:
Celebrate National Poetry Month by creating your very own blackout poem! Use preprinted pages and blackout lines of text with a sharpie. Write your poem by leaving chosen words untouched on each line. All supplies provided. No registration required. Fun for the whole family!

Therapy Dogs
April 17th @ 7:00PM:
Come to the library and ease your stress by enjoying time with therapy dogs whom are sure to put a smile on your face. Learn about what therapy dogs are, what they do, and why they are important. Read to the dogs and cuddle them up. Program made possible by the Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club. No registration required.

The Amazing Change: A Living Landscape
April 24th @ 7:00pm
Celebrate the Illinois Bicentennial by exploring the history and evolution of the Illinois landscape over the past 200 years with presenter Ray Wiggers. No registration required.\

Feeling crafty? Come to the library to spend time with great people creating new, and fun crafts for you to keep! Craft themes change every month. All materials are provided for you unless otherwise noted. The program is free, but registration is required. There are only 10 spots available every month, so be sure to register early.
